Guerrilla Girls: Is It even worse in Europe?

Whitechapel gallery exhibition is a made up of views and research from female activist from New York who wear Guerrilla mask as apart of their uniform.

For many years women have been battling with trying to have equal rights as men it has been put into place throughout the law that all are equal however in many cases today that is not the case. Guerrilla Girls create innovating presentation on exposing sexism, racism, culture, politics, film and the arts.

Is It even worse in Europe? This is a subject they had created in 1986 and revisited the topic by going to museum and asking employees and owners to fill out a questionnaire Over 30 years and the topic is still relevant.

I particular like this exhibition, as it allows the viewer to examine the truth behind the lies. The layout of the Questionnaires across the walls looks as it it's in someone office and they are trying to solve a case the aesthetic of being a detective as viewer I can relate but I also felt like I began to put myself in the shoes of the activist and could imagine their feelings whilst dealing with this topic.
